A general manager for the B2C offering is also in place, while those operations will also be handled from the Denver office.

“Betsafe’s B2C launch is an opportunity to showcase Betsson’s exclusive US-tailored bookmaker for new and existing operators in the market, making it an important part of the company’s B2B strategy in the country. “, we read in a press release from Betsson.

The group added that the launch was made possible by undertaking regulatory and technological preparations to ensure that sports betting meets the standards required in the country.

“The GLI 33 certification that Gaming Laboratories International has issued for sports betting in Colorado is also required to operate in multiple states, and is therefore an important cornerstone in establishing Betsson’s B2B sports betting offering in the country,” Betsson noted.

The Betsafe app will be available on iOS and Android, and will offer players a range of sports categories, as well as different betting and payment options, competitive odds and promotions for those in the state.

Betsson CEO and Chairman Pontus Lindwall said: “The launch of our US-exclusive sportsbook is an important milestone. We are entering a new continent, expanding Betsson’s global reach and further solidifying our B2B and B2C ambitions, thanks to many months of hard work by our product and technology teams to design a custom product for the US market.
